“Our first Bali experience - we were spoilt!!! ”

Wow... my wife and I are impressed.
From the moment we arrived (at 1.15 am) the welcoming, friendly service abounded and never ceased. Most professional & caring resort staff we have ever had the pleasure of encountering. Nothing was a bother, I hope management acknowledges their very valuable contribution.
The Visesa Ubud is simply delightful, a virtual Garden of Eden, surprisingly close to Ubud's central markets and restaurants; not that we needed to make the short trip in, as the resort's three restaurants offer plenty of choice. We were impressed with the use of produce grown at the resort, complimenting the resort's vision of embracing nature. The surrounding forest and rice fields are only surpassed by the immaculate gardens.
The suites are luxurious, as are inclusions such as toiletries, etc.
Best bed ever, had great sleeps.
Magnificent facilities and the setting for massages is fabulous.
The only downside was that we had to leave.
Highly recommend the Visesa Ubud, don't miss this experience.
“Cultural Paradise in the Heart of Bali”

Throughout my travels in Bali, there’s one place which truly captured my heart from the moment I set eyes on it. Desa Visesa Ubud - uniting the magic of traditional Balinese culture with the comforts of a wonderful residence.
From the moment you set foot on the grounds, you’re taking part in an authentic cultural experience. It’s so peaceful and calm, making it an ideal location for practising yoga and meditation.
Our greeting to the hotel was undoubtedly a unique one. We participated in a ritual that involved sitting in a special chair, as we were gifted a bracelet, rice was put on our forehead and a flower in our hair. It was unlike anything I’d done before!
We stayed in a one bedroom villa that exuded both comfort and beauty, making us feel right at home. With a king sized bed, and a spacious bathroom, everything in the villa was perfectly designed and very stylish. Even the entrance to the villa was special, featuring a pond with active little fish!
I could spend forever raving about Visesa Spa, which we had the privilege of enjoying during our stay. The day began with meeting a Balinese healer for a consultation, and he spoke about my chakras (luckily he said I’m healthy and well-balanced!). We then continued to a 1.5hr massage at Bamboo Pavilions, which are charming huts with serene views across the rice fields. It seriously melted away all my stress and concerns, and I came away feeling rejuvenated and re-energized.
Lumbung restaurant gave us a fantastic dining experience I just have to share with you! They offered an impressive range of traditional home cooking style meals, and apparently, they even use indigenous Indonesian cooking techniques and ingredients as well! As we had dinner, we looked out upon a waterfall… it was like a dream. It definitely inspired me to try new things and become more adventurous with my palate.
If you’re looking for a fantastically unique experience in Bali, and want to immerse yourself amongst authentic culture and customs, look no further than the wonderful Desa Visesa Ubud. I’m sure I’ll be back soon enough!

This hotel is just amazing. If you are looking for a combination of Villas and Resort, reasonable prices, everything amazing, food, activities, environment.
The staff is always available, friendly, smiling, doing everything for you. You feel like a king/queen!
I recommend you to book via the official website, great deals and prices. We had a half-board, breakfast is wow and food in general. Buying in the villa also works and prices are really good for a luxury resort. Family friendly, they are lovely with kids.
Very close to Ubud centre.
Pickup service at the airport is very handy!
I can tell you much more about this hotel, on top of everything they are eco friendly!

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The welcome blessing was a bit of fun. The accommodation was beautiful, clean and very spacious. The Lumbung restaurant offered a nice view with excellent service and food. The shuttle bus to Ubud was useful and an affordable ride back from town can be negotiated if needed. I was very impressed with place and I will stay here again next time I am in Ubud.

Upon arrival at Visesa Ubud, we were met by friendly staff and had our first taste of Bali culture with a welcoming ceremony. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and made us feel as if we were right at home. Our rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The resort makes travelling to the town quite easy with a shuttle which takes no more than 10 minutes. The breakfast area was an open restaurant with a pool on one side, a lily pond on the other and a rice paddy within sight. One couldn't help but be amazed by the natural beauty of the place, whether it was sitting quietly at breakfast watching the ducks in the nearby rice paddy or walking back to our rooms at dusk as the resort lights were coming on. Writing this review, having just returned from Bali only three days ago makes me miss the place so much more than I thought I would. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Visesa stood up to its reputation of a luxury hotel and provided one of the best services we could ever asked for.The view was breathtaking and our allocated suite room was fantastic.The shuttle service was on time and good.We were even surprised with a anniversary cake which was a very thoughtful gesture by the hotel.The staffs were kind and polite and provided their very best services.Truly a relaxing experience for us.The only improvements should be the the water pressure in the room and coffee house which lacked staffs and service was slow and could be more efficient.Otherwise top rated resort and truly worth the mention especially the resorts eco preservation which was commendable.

We came for the start of our trip to bali and absolutely loved it!! it completely exceeded all our expectations! the grounds of the hotel were stunning and all the facilities are fantastic! all the staff couldn't have been nicer to us in particular Wayan who showed us to our room, he was a brilliant host in particular! they had a regular shuttle buses into ubud centre which was brilliant and the staff were very helpful if you needed a taxi at another time! will hopefully be back asap!!:)
“Great rural setting with modern Villas”

A nice villa, modern in design but in a traditional village setting, very nice 2 bedroom villas with private pools, good for romantic breaks or honeymoon. The restaurant was average but Ubud has plenty of dining options.
